Announcing DPICS Winter Code Sprint 2026 and Competitive Boot Camp

Elevate Your Problem-Solving Mastery

Dhaka Polytechnic Institute Computing Society is pleased to announce our flagship winter training program: Winter Code Sprint & Competitive Boot Camp 2026!

Whether you are aiming to crack ACM-ICPC preliminary rounds, qualify for national contests, or prepare for technical interviews at top engineering firms, this camp is structured to take your analytical abilities to the next level.

Curriculum Overview

The bootcamp spans 4 intensive weeks, featuring live lectures, guided problem sessions, and weekly virtual mock contests:

Week 1: Foundational Speed & Math

  • Time and Space Complexity ($O(N)$, $O(N \log N)$, amortized analysis)
  • Number Theory: Sieve of Eratosthenes, Euclidean GCD, Modular Exponentiation
  • Two-pointer techniques and Sliding Window paradigms

Week 2: Linear & Tree Data Structures

  • Binary Indexed Trees (Fenwick Trees) and Segment Trees with Lazy Propagation
  • Disjoint Set Union (DSU) with Path Compression and Rank Heuristics
  • Monotonic Queues and Stacks

Week 3: Graph Algorithms & Traversals

  • BFS / DFS with state encoding
  • Dijkstra's Algorithm, Bellman-Ford, and 0-1 BFS
  • Topological Sorting and Strongly Connected Components (Tarjan's / Kosaraju's)

Week 4: Dynamic Programming & Bitmasking

  • State formulation and memoization vs iterative tabulation
  • Longest Common Subsequence (LCS) and Knapsack variations
  • Bitmask DP and Matrix Exponentiation for linear recurrences
