Champions - National Smart Bangladesh Hackathon 2026

Triumph at National Hackathon 2026

We are thrilled to announce that Team DPI CyberKnights won the Champion Trophy at the prestigious National Smart Bangladesh Hackathon 2026, organized by the ICT Division.

The Problem

Smallholder farmers in rural Bangladesh lose up to 30% of perishable crops due to market information asymmetry and lack of rapid disease detection.

Our Solution: KrishiSetu AI

We built a progressive web application integrating:

1. Edge-based Leaf Disease Detection: Offline-capable TensorFlow Lite model detecting 14 common crop diseases in real-time.
2. Direct Fair-Price Bidding: Real-time WebSocket auction room eliminating middle-man exploitation.
3. Automated Logistics Routing: Microservices-based transit aggregation with live telemetry.

"The technical depth, fast prototype delivery, and clean system architecture from the polytechnic team blew the jury away." — Chief Judge Panel
